Enjoyed some time on Nimrod this weekend, just not many fish...
My wife and I spent the weekend camped out at Sunlight Bay and did a little fishing in the river. We did pretty good with a couple tubes of crickets on some brim. The in-laws camped with us so I took my father in law out too. I went back out by myself this moring early and decided to put the crickets up and try out my new Crappie Thunder roadrunners and managed to catch 4 or 5 off some ledges but didn't get to fish long. Hopefully next time up there I can get out on the main body of water. All in all though, we had a great time and I got to run my boat a little more. Also came up with a name for her, Stump Thumper. :) It's not many fish but here's a few photos from the weekend.
First off, gotta show my love for the site.

This is right after we got setup. It was nice and there was nobody around us all weekend. Very relaxing.

And this is just because I want to be different. I see pics on here all the time showing off big slabs. Well what about the little guys? They need love too, lol.

Saw a photo-op for Stump Thumper while I was unloading. It looks so much better on the water than in my backyard in pieces.

This was a little nicer crappie I caught this morning. Nothing huge but it felt good to actually catch a decent one for once.

This was one of the massive brim we caught over the weekend. We had a dozen or so of these.

Sorry if the pics are too big. I tried to resize them in photobucket before I posted.banghead
