Busy Boy
Well it finally got cold in Deep East Texas and I had to stay inside and work on jigs all yesterday. Here is just some of the things that came off the vice. There were a lot more of the pony heads but figured 3 of each was all that needed to be seen. Did fill in the few spots in my jig boxes that had ones and twos but wanted to do some new ones also. I guess that these are enough to agreevate the crappies with for a few day at lease. Enjoy!!!!

My friend they are looking good! Really nice job & now you look ready to get after them in that beautiful lake. I so want to come there when I get my boat out and get you to shoe me that lake! I really want to fish it in the spring when they are shallow. Love them Cypress trees!

Thank you all for the kind comments. Hadn't posted any pictures for a long time so though that you would all enjoy them. Now to answer some questions and add some comments.
Va Crappie Man the far left are a pattern that I borrowed from JungleJim it is call Flash Duck. They are all Mallard feathers tied in the electric chicken color. The top ponys are a old time pattern called Bluetail Fly and are blue tail, white body chenille, White hackle, and Grizzly wing.
Adam I moved south to get away from the very cold weather but every once in a while it creeps in and anything below 40 is cold any more You know us old Geezers just don't like the cold. Yes one of my jig boxes is nothing but black and pink another is nothing but black and chartreuse.
Skip Any time buddy you have a open invite to join me. We will go out and fish those cypress trees and you can show me how to kill those crappies with Thump-it jigs. It will be a pleasure Just be sure to bring along a few pipes and some baccy for smoking is allowed on board my boat.
Bronson Classes are conducted every hour of every day Via this forum. Buy your self a vice and a little material and we will teach you to tie jigs that will fool the wary old crappies and bream. You work hard and own it to your self.
The rest of you Thank you for your kind comments.
