Yes they started out as round heads and I used a press to flatten them out. Didn't want to do another mold got lazy so I used a press and instant pill head.

And here is the press I used to press them with it is a OLD press I used when I was a watchmaker back in the 1980's so it has some age on it.

Watch maker huh? You must be very patient to work with such small parts, sounds very tedious... Id imagine it would give you alittle bit of an edge tying jigs :)
None the less Looks good to me.
Well it's like I told you that day I stopped by, I have always had a thing for That beautif lake with all them Cypress trees! Just a georgus lake and all natural which just makes it even more of. Draw to me!
I will bring some of the wonderful tobacco I have accumulated over the last year and a half. I do have some wonderful aged stuff.

Nice Job! They all look great but, I can tell you the "Bluetail Fly" jig is even better looking in hand, than the picture shows. It's one of my fav's of my collection. I've been fortunate enough to be in a lot of jig swaps with "THE BEST" jig tiers in the country. Redman is an AWESOME jig tiers and offers some great advice on a variety of things, if I will just listenThumbs Up . You need to keep the camera handier...lol.
