Thinking I need a new one for fathers day, mine is worn plumb out,(don't know how that happened, apparently sitting in the kitchen drawer is hard on em), what is a good one, and where did you get it? And what is it you like about it and don't?

American angler makes the best, highest rpm, durable and is very ergonomical.
i have a american angler and mr.twister also have a piranha by mr.twister i use the american angler wife likes the piranha best.
I like the piranha.
well i bought the one walmart sells a couple years back an im just now realizing it dont have the rpm's! its ok for the money but if you really clean alot of fish i would go for a better electric fillet knife with high rpm's! im sure the above mentioned brands are the ticket and ive taken note.........
I like any one that has a 'screwdriver' type handle as opposed to a 'handle' above the knife .....way more control.
Curved blades are not for cleaning fish!
Pay more attention next time you use it, your using curved blades on a flat fish... There is a piece of meat along the back you miss until you make the turn and get the knife laying flat. There is just no way to prevent it.
Mr twister all the way!
Never did get used to an Electric. With a little practice a good old fashion manual fillet knife is hard to beat. I miss less meat and don't cut through any bones.
Mister Twister works best for me and we have tried'em all! I do have a good manual knife that I use sometimes but the elec has spoiled me I guess.
