I know its way too early,but just decided to put this out there so we can throw it around a little.
What about having a South La. gathering at Lake Fausee Pointe State Park? I know that there are plenty of North and Central La members who have never fished the Atch. basin.
When to have it? That's the scary part,that river is unpredictable.I was thinking about mid to late October,before the hunting season really gets started and the temps are starting to cool.Thoughts and comments welcome:D

Might even bring along a little redfish sauce piquant if PPG would bring the rice!

Sounds great to me.....I'm good for maybe chicken & sausage jambalya or spagetti and meat sauce.....drove over there one day just checking the place out but never fished the west side of the basin.....might have to call in some IOU's for some honey hole locations.......I don't think you could keep PPG away......shoot, he will probably be retired by then.....

Sounds like a winner to me. But, I would probably need someone from south Louisiana to fish with me to keep me from getting lost in the "Basin." LOL And, I love all of those foods yall have mentioned. HeHeHe.
