Which model minn kota did you buy? and did the shaft cutting work out.
I think he's still standing in the garage with the hack saw in his hands, palms sweaty, and too scared to move.
I got the Terrova 80# , but it hasn't come in yet. Minnkota engineer said cutting is no big deal, but, yeah I'll prolly stand there with the saw for a long while before workin' up the courage to cut it! Gonna mount it first and see if I can live with the length. Bigger has the same boat as me, and after seeing his, which is 6" shorter, I'm prolly gonna be cuttin out 'bout a foot.
How much for auto pilot on that unit?

Would a pipe cutter or tubing cutter work? If so you would not run the risk of nicking or cutting a wire. Would be a nice even cut too.
Now G3 you know that is gettin too technical for Feelay. He isnt used to fancy tools. I'm just sayin!
Well...I thought I would just bring up the pipe cutter idea before Wannabe came in here with a real bunch of technical jargon, Lol. :D
