I think it depends on the type of fishing you prefer to do most of the time. If you like getting up in the woods, bumping stumps and chomping up a little wood in route to your special honey hole than a Maxxum is the one for you, especially if you prefer to fish from the front of the boat in very tight situations.
If, on the other hand, you prefer open water fishing deep brush piles, bottom bumping, long line trolling and pulling cranks then a Terrova may be the weapon of choice.
The terrova will get you in stick-ups and will work just fine slipping around DonDon's bridge pilings. The terrova also has an advantage if you find yourself fishing alone or have an inexperienced angler sitting up front and you need to guide them to the fish.
