Don't shoot 'em while they sit on the powerlines, cook. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Roger's Sporting Goods in Liberty has steel 2 3/4" #7's at a good price. Work great for teal and I have used similar loads in the past for doves and they worked fine. Use an improved cylinder choke. Good luck. Oh, they don't taste like liver if cooked properly either. Use cream cheese, jalapenos, garlic powder and duck commander seasoning(hot of course)and wrap in bacon and secure with a toothpick. Don't cook past medium rare(just when the bacon starts to look edible is the key). God bless.
Seems like an awful lot of work for a bite of meat so small. Guess that is why I no longer hunt them. Good luck, Cookie.
i hope there is still a few around!!!! hope there not already in MEXICO lmao!!
I quit dove hunting when the whiney azz's at the other end of the field kept complaining about my arrows raining down on them.
I am possibably the best dove hunter in the united states of america, hands down, bar none, no question about it, and I can't kill on out of 34 shots. so cook hope you have a great hunt, I remember a lot of good times in the corn patch waiting on them darting little liver birds, ever notice them change directions every 4th wing beat. really
Ya gotta aim where they ain't :)
Wish I had someone that didn't like to eat 'em giving them to me. Here's a mess I cooked up. Wasn't much work to getting them ready and they were gone as fast as they came off the grill. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as hitting them things, it ain't that hard to hit 'em.;) I even give them a flying chance and use my pistol grip Benelli SBE with rifle sights on it. God bless. http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...901090822a.jpg http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k4...902091746a.jpg
