Dang Jim, by comparison, yours is really clean. I DON'T have a lot of tying stuff either, but am happy at the moment. I do have some stuff out in the shed that makes a motion into my desk area from time to time.I mostly take out just what I'm going to work with at one time. Here's my work area. Now mind you, this is a student desk, acquired a few years back when the college dorms were renovated. Seems plastic totes are popular.
