    Default 1/24 dart jigs

Poured some dart jigs from an old Do it mold with blue handles on #8 sickles, always poured them on #6 or larger hooks before. They balance very well and actually stand with hook up. Painted up over 50 and added 3mm 3-d eyes to some. I call them "Cyclops" jigs. Name: IMG_5283.jpg

The eye is what they see first when jig is sinking, especially with the glow eyes. I fished with these cyclops jigs before and they work very well. First time using smaller #8 sickles. Poured more in this size yesterday so won't be the last.

I like it. Just a few bright feathers away from catching some fish.

I like the multiple color jigs since it improves the odds that fish will see it. I use 3-4 colors on each jig. Once the paint is on the jig I reheat it for a couple seconds and use my half hitch tool to swirl and mix the paint around before baking. Once baked durability of the paint job is fantastic. Very hard to chip these, even on purpose. Only takes about 30 seconds to paint one.

Where's your tutorial for painting like that? Searched many times and can't find it again.
