What if you want to put on a glow color then a candy ?

last weekend I was experimenting with a few glow colors. I was very un-happy with the results... Didn't pop! So I tried a white under coat! Pow that was it! I'm always about saving time, but this time consuming double dip changed the brilliance of the glow! So if you hit the white base coat before your top coat... What a difference ! Later LB

I've been pouring and powder coating for 5 years and no means an expert I think it would work but your base coat might change the intended color. I'd experiment on one or two to see if its what your looking for?

So was your base coat a PP white or a special base coat? I'm wanting to try it under a candy that I've got coming.
Reg. white it was some I picked up in a bait store. In ala. because of price . Just plan white

So my devious plan just might work!![]()
White powder paint can be a real PITA!! I've gone to using white pearl which really coats better for me anyway. On candy colors some have had jigs nickle plated then put the candy colors over that and they look really good. There are some shiny chrome powder paints but I've never tried them.
If you do a search on chrome powder paint or nickle plating you'll get a bunch of info.
I'm searching for a mirror chrome powder that's not plating. So far I've struck out!
