The lake is down pretty good now and they’re still pulling water. The fish only have one option right now. Deep water. I went out this morning to see if I could find some spots. It’s tough with heavy wind blowing and swirling in the deeper coves. I still caught some fish. Ten crappies and 5 perch. Only brought home 4 big crappies tho. Duck hunter was too close to my favorite spot for this time of year and when I came back later, wind was up too high to fish in the cold. Didn’t get a bite there. Only fished 10 minutes or so. Hopefully headed back tomorrow if the winds aren’t too cold to fish in. I’m not a young whippersnapper anymore. Can’t take the cold like I used too.
