Was there today. Amazing how low the water gets there in a few days. All the trees sticking out of the water.

I did not catch a fish in two hours.

It seems the lake can be drawn down quick.

Big D, it gets harder to find the fish when they’re pulling water so fast. You have to fish really tight to the brushpiles to get them. If you’re not getting hung up every now and then, you’re not fishing tight enough. I put a solid limit of crappies in the boat Wednesday morning and was done by noon. Hang glided jigs and nibbles in 10 to 14ft. Caught bonus bass and gills too. Don’t sit in one spot too long if you’re not getting bit every few minutes or if all you’re catching is the smaller ones. Move to the next closest Brushpile and start over.
