Captain Joe and I still plan another few trips to enjoy the fall action when the weather is favorable. My dad enjoyed seeing the 13-14” crappies through the window at the nursing home. We finally get inside next week in an isolated area to spend 30 minutes with him Tuesday.
That’s great you’ll be able to spend time with your dad next week. I’m not as fortunate. My brother died in his nursing home a few months ago from Covid. Was rough as we couldn’t even see him as he was leaving us. Anyway, enough of that. I asked the COE if they could leave the docks in a little longer this year as we haven’t been having early freezes in the last couple years this early. They didn’t get back to me so we’ll see if the do. They’re normally gone by mid month. With the lake dropping slower than usual, they just might not take them this early.
