With limited time it makes it tough to explore new waters.. few questions, does wilhelm fish crappie like pymatuning? If I ever make it there should I search for brush, weed lines, drop offs? Quite honestly I enjoy doing research and I would do that all myself, but just trying to get a hint where to start! I see a guy on YouTube always posting videos from wilhelm and he seems to do pretty good!

also, I have to appreciate the shirt, I’ve seen it a million times. I worked there from 14 years old up until probably 31 or 32 off and on. Started cutting grass at 14 around the boats, when I turned 16 they let me rib, and from 18-forever I cleaned all the fish! For years I went from the everyday job, over to the bait shop just to have fun and clean fish. I had the hobby everyone hated! Still love cleaning fish to this day!
In all honesty I have rarely fished crappie on Wilhelm. Best day for numbers we ever had was this past Wednesday. Those we got this week were on the old creek bed North of the causeway. I have to add some info. Wednesday I found them due to my nose being stuck to the Humminbird. I have a Helix with Mega Down Imaging. Boy did it ever light up when I crossed that creek channel. Wife and I hit it often for bluegills a few years ago. We would catch a few crappie mixed in with the bluegills. For me it is an easy place to go for a few hours. My Navionics sd card map shows a lot of cribs and rock piles they have added so it should fish like Pymatuning.

I still have noodle rods from Richie's. 4 of them are those brown Erie series rods he was selling at a good price. Used to lend them to relatives who wanted to try steelhead fishing. That was my top place to shop especially for that scent they made from what I have no idea. Loved it up there the colder the better. Then it got crowded. The wild bunch came from all over. I saw grown men chasing after each other with clubs. I am not crazy about full contact fishing so we sort of gave it up.
