Any day I’m able to breath, I’ll fish. That’s every day I wake up. Really. Being retired I fish whenever I feel like it. I’ve been icefishing all month and having a good time most days. Next month, I’ll head south and enjoy some Kentucky weather for a few weeks then back home to our area lakes for our crappie spawn. July, I’ll head north to Lake Erie for the walleyes. I’ll fish them until they move out to deep water in August. Then I’ll go out with the friends with bigger boats made to fish the bigger waters all the way until mid September. Then it’s back to Shenango and Pymatuning until mid October. I may head back to Ky lake for a week then but if I don’t, I’ll spend the rest of the season on Shenango Lake. I’ll fish there until it’s time to put my boat away. Usually the second week of December. Then it’s a wait on the ice to form again.
