Fished this morning did some trolling for eyes. Caught 17 crappies trolling a silver and black hot n tot. All the fish came along the sides of drop offs. Water depth was 15-17 feet. Trolling speed was 2.4 mph. Starting to see some striper actively on the surface

I trolled shenango for a while this morning too. Nothing but crappies. I used 2 diffrent setups. Had a spoon with 1oz tadpole weight back 30, on a board and a lindy shadling #5 back 100ft on the other. Both setups took fish but none were keepers. Put the trolling gear away around 10 and started jiggin blowdowns. Caught over 30 crappies but none were over 11". Didn't keep any today. Headed to Pymy northend tomorrow. Heard tuttle area was doing okay.
