Default Linesville Launch and Bait question

I have never fished out of the Linesville Launch and was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is very hard to find? Is it very well marked coming in from Conneaut? Also wondering if there are any bait shops near the launch? And if so, what time do they open? Thanks for any info you can provide.

coming out of Conneaut, stay on main road until you come to the T Rout 6. Make a left and don't turn until you are at the launch. They have bait and open at 7

rt 6 runs down the middle of Linesville, at the end of town there is a y in the road with a country fair store {gas station } in the middle , stay to the left as you slide off of rt 6. this will run you right into the boat launch about a mile or two ahead . they sell bait , not sure what time they open

Let us know how you do Zeke. Monday I only had a short time to fish before dark. Started near Snodgrass and drifted back toward Jamestown picking up nice crappie here and there on eastside of lake. We never stopped and fished one area because of time. Minnie under float. Also caught some big gills

Didn't make it to Pymy. Couldn't go until yesterday (Fri) and after listening to the weather forecast I decided not to chance it in my boat. Glad I didn't go because someone posted on another site that it was cold and windy with white caps. It would have probably sunk my boat. I did go to Wilhelm instead. It was kind of windy and chilly there too. Between me and a friend we caught about 70-80 crappie. The bad news is that the biggest one was 10" all the rest were 7-8" fish. Didn't bring anything home. It's a shame what has happened to that lake. It used to be one of my favorites. I haven't fished it for about 4 yrs, so I thought I'd give it a try. I hope they get the problem corrected because it's such a nice lake to fish.

On another note, when are we going to have a fish-together? Anyone interested?

I'm interested. Let me know when and i'll try to get some goodies to pass out after we eat. Got a few friends that may pitch in some of their products.
