They should be hitting, no matter where you go. But don't look for help from Chaunc, as he is in Kentucky slaying the fish.

Anyone doing anything anywhere? Pymatuning? Lake Arthur? Wilhelm? Yellow Creek? Raystown? Was hoping to get out Thursday but don't know where to start!?!?

Yesterday at Shenago caught 20 or so crappies. One 16 1/2, 2-14,4-13,2-12. Also caught 8 pike. 2catfish . All on green tail and orange 1/16 head. Fished 6foot down over 10fow.
Caught 25 crappie in 4 hours on Sunday. Did not to Green Lick Reservoir until 11:30 Talked with another fellow said that the morning bite was pretty hot. Size was not as big as I would have liked but still enough for supper. slow push 10-12 down in 15-20 FOW. all colors of jigs tipped with minnows. Fishing the tourney at pymatuning on Saturday.
Good luck on the Pymy Tourney.
thanks I am gonna need it, with this crazy weather.
my partner and I barely made the top 25 , over one hundred teams despite wind and rain showers . Top three cracked 7 lbs for five fish . Not bad for Pyme and pre spawn conditions .Big fish almost broke 2 lbs .Storm that broke over lake at weigh in was a doozy . Team that took first place has taken it for third year in a row . Tough to beat but deserves it , hard worker . Hope you did well .
That was a rough one. We only mustard up 4 crappie all day. Biggest was 1lb 10oz. We left after we weighed in, so I have no clue what place we took. Caught some monsters on Friday, but could not find them on Saturday. Still enjoyed fishing 2 days with my father.
Was on vacation this week. Fished Arthur Mon-Wed 2 bass 2 cats a few perch and no crappies in the wood. Then went to Wilhelm on Thurs eve and found some crappies in the trees--buddy and I caught around 20 but only a few keepers. Water was around 64 degrees. Should be a lot better this coming week.
