Yes, but it's one of the last areas to thicken up. Seems like somebody goes thru there every year. Thankfully we haven't lost anyone there YET.

There was about 10 guys that fished the area today. 3 of us fished all day but all the other guys except one other shanty, left a little past noon. The bite was tough. All small crappies and gills with only a couple that would keep. Ice was almost 4 in most areas we fished. Dont think it will stand up to the warmup coming so be careful if you go.Originally Posted by sparkie51

Glad you got out Chaunc I can't wait and of course I was planning to go out this coming sunday and its going to be in the 60's hopefully we don't lose the ice and when I am off next week I can get out.
