    Default jigs for bream

i live in nc in the mtns. does anyone tie their own jigs for bream fishing? My 10 year old daughter has been watching me tie crappie jigs and she has started tying her own. we are both new to this but shes doin a great job and i've caught over 130 crappie in 3 days fishing over the last 3 weeks with our jigs. Question is what size and patterns/colors are good for bream fishing? She wants to tie her own for bream fishing this summer. WE have been tying simple patterns for the crappie..just chenille bodies and marabou tails.. Any suggestions are appreciated and a pic here would be nice if ya have samples. Thanks and God Bless!

try these for bream and bluegill. Just stick a wax worm on and your set. You will love how they flutter down. You can make them yourself or buy them from several people. I started making mine with a number 4 sickle hook

That's all you need, IMO. Solid black in 1/64 oz size has been working very well for me -- been catching gills, crappie, and bass.
