A porcupine quill with 1 BB split shot and a #8 carlisle cricket hook is tttttooooooooo tempting for a redear or bluegill to resist. I use 8# test and a cricket. DEADLY!!!! 1 other thing I dip the quill in white vinyl jig paint then after it is dry I dip it in hot pink paint. Stands out like a sore thumb:D:D:D I can smell them fillets cookin now!!!!
