I still have a few of my own Foxees too. This was one of my favorites. http://i225.photobucket.com/albums/d...1/FoxeeJig.jpg
Here is a link where I last got mine. Blue Fox - Lures - Foxee Jig I think there are places where you can still get the Foxee bodies and just put them on your own minnow jig heads. Nowadays I just usually fish a dropper jig combo of Danger! Danger! with either a jig or hook below it.

beetle spins in black and yellow is the go to bait. last year i was playing with a micro crank bait that i got at WM. I am about color blind, but smitty said that it was green. I believe him. The red ears could not lay off that bait. They would hit , on top, dead stick or twiching, or cranking. I could not find a way not to fish it. I went back to WM and got some more. cant wait !
I dont know about bluegill but that little snap bean will wear the trout out. DB4D I use the tiny rapalla crawdad in creeks for smallmouth and hook the occasional bluegill and the trebble hook is not to hard to get out, keep some small pliers handy though and pinch the barb on the hook down.
1/32 oz black w/yellow stripe beetle spin and ligon bream killer(fly) sz 8 black
dont move it just let it sink real slow, bluegills cant leave it alone
