    yeah I have made few different float out of quills. I use them fishing off of local fishing docks. At night around here the crappie tend to stack up on the edge of the light and we use slip corks to catch them. The quill is my favorite because the black and white make it very easy to see and its sensitivity in unmatched.

    DBD, I checked out the Tackle Shop site, very good. But the prices were in pounds.. How do you work out the exchage rate for $US.

    To get the exact amount, just use yahoo. Type in the total amount in British pounds (GBP) and convert to dollars:
