    I've mounted several in that weight range but none have been that long.

    That is an amazing fish! Man, more meat on that one guy than on all 12 5-6 inchers I cleaned today.

    Don't see too many shellcrackers where I live. Why no red on the ears? If I were to catch that 2 pounder here I would think I had the world record longear.

    Thing looks like a cross between a crappie and a bluegill. Nice fish! As far as I know, Oklahoma does not have any shellcrackers. It would be one of those times when you catch a fish and wonder, what the heck is it?
