    Default pepperoni as bream bait...it works!


    i tried some pepperoni out today as bream bait and the bream attack this thing almost instantly no waiting just drop it and they take it..

    i seen some biguns come from the darknes and pushed the littleones out the way to get the pepperoni.

    How big of a peice of pepperonia are you using? do you use it on a bare hook?

    They will hit almost any type of prepared meat: pepperoni, hot dogs, spam, Slim Jim's, etc. It's a very good bait.

    We tore them up today and they bit plastic trout worms on a tiny lead head. We broke off about 1/2'' and put it on the leadhead. They loved those pink trout worms. Works with a small cork set just shallower than the water depth and fished over the beds.
    I released the biggest Redears in a friend's pond. Still filleted a gallon bucket over full.:D

    crappie nibbles work as well pink and yellow seem best
