    Default Killer Bream Fly

Here is a pic of one of the dronwing ants I tied. It is a very quick and easy tie. This one is tied on a tiemco 2457 size 10 hook with 4 glass beads and grizzley hackle. I would normally use size 8 thread but didnt have that size in a color to match beads so I had to use size 3. Hope you enjoy.

Great looking fly. I wouldn't use it in waters where there are a lot of turtles though. Turtles like to bite the glass beads off flies. As a result of the turtles in a lot of waters I fish, most all of my flies have only metal beads.

NICE looking fly, but am curious as to why you tie the thread in-between the beads.
Is that to give it a more segmentead look, or just to keep the beads in-place ?
