I have used meal worms and most ever other kind of worm god put on this earth. In the south if you have maggots you have a sanitation problem. I own a chicken farm, not braggin . Dead bird disposal is a major expense. Currently we use a pit, a large pit that we keep covered an air tight , when possible. From what you guys are saying , i am missing the boat. I have millions of maggots any time of the year. They are in the raw enviroment and it would take a lot of fortitude to recover them. Maybe i need to look into this. Illigal immigrants maybe? If you are ever in my neighborhood , drop by, you can fill your cups.
