Here's the Flier I caught at a creek in my friends back yard near the coast of North Carolina, it's quite small though but it seems to resemble a Crappie. At first I though it was some type of hybrid species...

But I definitely know what a Crappie looks like and I know what a Crappie is! After plenty of research on panfish, the only fish that came close to the characteristics of the unknown is a Flier.
