    Default Last trip for 2025

Yesterday I got out for a few hours. Temps were 65 when I walked out the door and windy but with cold front moving through in the afternoon. Little mixed bag, caught four crappie, two trout and a gill. Almost got blown in the lake with the wind gusts once. Got up to 76 yesterday before front came through. 16 now with wind chill of -4. Very nice trip, variety is cool. Most places are snowed in up north.
i would take the cool weather over the heat anytime.
    happy new year

Might not be the last trip. Supposed to hit a balmy 43 on New years eve so might squeeze in an afternoon trip.
