That's the map of where I've been fishing.
Have caught fish a lot of places. The dock on the right was hot until the owner pulled a lot of the vegetation and it went dead..
Off the left dock,, it got better a few days ago when i cast out past he weeds. Caught a couple small ones straight down off left dock but nothing very productive.
Biggest fish were before weeds were pulled by right dock just past the end or just inside the end. Was always a long eared sunfish.
So with the cold weather and my nightcrawlers failing to get bites, where and with what would you try to fish this area?
I've tried multiple different jigs with only a single bit. Likely my technique but the jig always got weeded up before I could work it.
Lake Hawkins, 100 yards from 2869 Bridge. Crystal clear water.
Have caught bluegill, warmouth, red ear, red belly and some unidentified sunfish.
