Not having been fishing up to my usual business lately, I’m always happy with a mixed bag. I’ve been a few times but the last time out, Thursday I think it was, it got different. Half a mile from the ramp I shut the motor down to take a phone call from another member. Others probably would’ve waited. Ret2go, the motor would turn over but not run so I trolling motored about to see what was around once I got upwind of the ramp. Got some smalls of many kinds but these guys finished the days mixed bag and made me happy. Been looking for some of these for some time of the size these were. 18 and 14”

But the best of the mixed bag wasn’t a fish but my first great grandson, seen here with my oldest daughter (Mimi).
