I got out early to beat the heat and was fishing before 6am. Third cast and first fish of the day was a kitty fish on the duck jig tipped with a waxworm. Found some bedding gills and the gills were actually following their hooked brothers and trying to take the jig away, briefly had a double on but small hook couldn't keep them both pinned. Finally caught a smaller gill and bass showed up. Ended up hooking four bass and landed two on the smaller gills. Fishing this lake since early 90's and a couple years ago started catching Long ears. Don't know how they got in there but they sure are pretty fish. Name: IMG_6287.jpg
