Thread: Wind and Braid don’t mix

Tried to get in a short trip this afternoon at the docks .
Busier today than what I expected. Guess the pretty weather brought everybody out.
Tried a spoon for 15-20 minutes . Straight retrieve didn’t work. Had to pull up , and let flutter down while taking up slack .
Got several hits , hooked up a couple that got off , one was a pretty good one that pulled drag some .
Switched over to the micro spinner for about 15-20 minutes until a big gust of wind blew my spinner into a bush on the bank and I had to break off .
Caught four , 2 gills , a fun shellcracker and a spunky little LM.
Tim , Hope you get things sorted out soon . It’s about to get fun time .

I get frustrated with braid and tear it all out and throw it away and before long I look at all the rods in my lab and they have braid again.

my tfo/nasci with 4lb Hercules just casts so damn far.
