Hot dogs will catch anything, including myself, haha. But never underestimate the power of Bacon, here's a video with a guy catching bass, blugill and crappie on bacon. He also has a video catching flounder with bacon. It has a nice bouyancy in the water that makes it attractive to fish

Watched a fella wear the flounder out with a strip of chicken . I have to admit it looked alive moving in the water
