    Default Difference a day makes

Wife and we’re out and about , so I dropped by Starr’s mill , one of the creeks I fished yesterday.
The creek is already blown out and the majority of the tropical storm rain will be here tonight

I took today’s picture out the window . Trying to stay dry .
Glad I got to fish it a little yesterday, it’ll be a month or more before it’s fishable.

That’s how most places will be with all this rain.

It has gotten up , and probably will by tomorrow , up over the parking area and picknic tables .
We drove a lake I frequent that had been over two feet low and it’s almost to full pool .
Maybe all this new water will improve the fishing and bring the fish back in closer to the banks .

    Default UPDATE !

Checked Starr’s mill creek park this afternoon.
They had yellow tape and orange barrels up to keep cars out .
I parked up the road and walked as close as I could get which was the entrance road about a couple hundred yards from the mill house and dam .
It’s going take a few days for the creek to get back into its bank .
The big pine on the left is where I parked yesterday!
I zoomed in with my iPhone for this pic.

That's a lot of new water but you might be surprised how fast it drops if there is a larger stream nearby and it's been dry. River here came up 10 foot after heavy rain one year but two days later the river dropped 8 foot. This river flows into the Mississippi and it was low so it was back to normal in just a short period of time.
