That’s is a beautiful warmouth for sure

After taking my wife for her MRI this morning, then dropping her off at the Town Library for lunch and some program , I was free to go chasing for a little while.
Grabbed four combos including a 6’6” St Croix Avid ul, A 6’ SC Avid Panfish UL, a 6’3” Abu Garcia Mass Beat 3 light and a 5’ Daiwa Trout X XUL , all with 2# Floroclear and a .5g jig .
I started with the longer rod and worked my way down in length, casting them all from one end of the dock at Lake McIntosh.
Casting toward a downed tree to compare casting distance.
The MB 3 beat the St Croix rods , but only maybe 3’ , but the little 5’ Trout X XUL cast as far or farther than any of the four .
Felt the lightest in the hand and was the most fun to fish with .
I knew the area around the dock had been only holding small fish lately , and today wasn’t much different.
I did catch more warmouth than anything else, nine , with four small green sunfish , and a couple of small gills, totaled fifteen for the hour and a half I fished .
Most came from dock shooting around the posts .
Love the colors on the warmouth especially when they start getting a little size to them .
I left there around two and drove to the line creek pond , where I added three small gills before heading home for a late lunch.
Weather was low to mid 70’s , mostly cloudy, and windy . With more rain expected this evening from the hurricane that came in rom the Gulf.

That’s is a beautiful warmouth for sure
