I also picked up a daiwa Steez A tw 1016 cc reel,,,, I’m trying to figure how to make this one cast with some cheap 6 lb mono and I’m having issues with backlash,,,,I have read up on these reels and seems there’s no setting it up except for drag and dial setting for brake,,, it just doesn’t cast without overspooling,,,, I might try some different line next,,, that 8 lb braid worked well with the Shimano bfs reel,,, maybe it will help the daiwa.Steez.,

This Lemoren rod is wonderful for the $50 bucks I spent on it,,, thing fires these 1/8 oz jigs nearly 50 yards now after some practice,,,,lol,,, can’t wait to get it to the lake,,,,I’m using 8 lb kast king Hammer braid,,, seems to be some great line for cheap…

Calcutta BFS in its stock form is possibly the longest casting BFS reel. You’ll enjoy it!
