My experience at least on the lakes I fish here in Ga. is yes there are a new round of spawners as the cycle progressives but YES they do get smaller. That being said there are exceptions with, the occasional where did you come from fish, but overall size goes down and I FIRMLY believe same with crappie in that the biggest go 1st. I catch my biggest Bream, shellcracker and bluegill around the full moon April and see a few big fish that move up but don't spawn on the full moon in March. Scott
