Thread: The Gills Are Runnin'

Got dropped off at the La Salle today, to chase the elusive Bluegill. Fished hard from about 9:30am - 5:30pm and fishing was super slow. I had to work very hard for each fish, but it payed off. I ended up landing 5 Bluegills with 3 of them being master anglers. The lengths on the 3 bigguns were 2 @ 8.75 inches and one 9 incher.

Also, had quite the scare when I was carrying my lawn chair to a different spot and my mom's cell phone fell out of the pocket in my lawnchair and into the water 8O luckily I pulled it out right aways and thankfully it didn't fry on me. Also while trying to cast against wind, somehow I hooked myself in the lip :? ....not fun. I tryed to pull it out, but it just wouldn't slide out.....then just when i was going to cut the line and leave it in till I got home, the hook just popped out! lol
