    If you caught them in Iammonia then they are just average. Theres some huge brim in that lake. Few gators too.

    WTG! One pound bluegill are rare indeed in most places and 2lb bluegill are a pearl of great price. I've seen one mounted before and that dude was a monster. It would be equivalent to catching a 20lb largemouth trophy wise. Love that dark color on those gills. Lake Iamonia must have a blackwater river running into it. Know those gills pulled good. Last month I got in a bed of 1/2 pound plus coppernose bluegill on a PFA. Will try to post the pictures sometime.

    I'd love to find a lake around here where we could catch bluegill that size and also pull out some dollar bills! That's some kinda special lake! :D
