My wife and I have thought of doing a train ride vacation.

Gill I took my GoPro and was going to video the train ride. It did not go well. We had an incident on the first leg of the trip where the train had to stop. We were not given the reason by the railroad personnel and didn’t think anything about it. When we arrived at destination we killed the 2.5 hours having lunch and looking around the town. We went into a fudge shop and the shop owner told us some juveniles on ATV’s had blocked the track causing the train to stop. She also told us they had already been arrested. Well we are siting at the train depot ready to board for return trip and was told we would be going back by bus. Needless to say that was a shock. We get on the bus and when we get back to Springdale there were about 150 people in line at the office requesting a refund. We were offered a refund or another set of tickets for a later date. I took the refund. The train cars were a joke. Not really in a good state of repair. Was supposed to have breakfast on the train. All we got was a small sliver of an orange cranberry muffin and a slice of orange. Pretty sad state of affairs for 200 bucks. So now I got to find another train ride for the wife to experience.
