    It was just unbelievable how many 12 to 14 inch bass were in there , no clue how that many could be in one pond , we used 4 inch black plastic worms ….ridiculous good stuff

    Years ago one my neighbors worked for a wealthy guy who's home backed up to Turtle Creek in Dallas. You could catch 1-4lb largemouths all day if you wanted. This was around 1975 and none of those rich folks fished. I only got to go once but gave my old Mitchell 300 with a fiberglass rod a good work out. The thing I remember is the president came to town and they (secret service I am assuming) wired his home up for security nerve center. The president was only in town for like 3 hours and when he left they left all the wiring in place. My dad and neighbor had to go and clean it out and that's how the found out about the bass Turtle Creek held.
