Just make a long cast , retrieve slowly twitching the rod tip as you wind . Sometimes I’ll stop and let it drop for a second or two .
The magnets are a hard bait to fish wrong! They are my number one go to for stream fishing using all types of retrieves. The fish will tell you what they want that day.
