I fished Dale Hollow and Center Hill lakes. In summer you head to the bluffs and find them hanging down next to the bluffs in 30-40 feet of water. A better solution might be to hit the waters slightly before sunrise and about 2 hours before sundown. They will usually move up shallow to feed during those times.
