Thread: what's your go to JIG?

Like many of us, I can go on about what has done well in the past. These days I’m into pretty simple jigs with plastics and hand tied both. Squirrel tail gets a lot of play, both gray and red, and fluorescent yellow Kiptail and an olive micro chenille does very well. While I didn’t tie this one, I’m happy to show it and tell its tale. Tied by Deepfry (Kevin )as a one feather jig on one of my 1/43 #8 jigs. Last Saturday it was officially doing work on my line. As basic as they come but the fish loved it. Just some food for thought.
