I've spent a lot a of time bobber fishing, I really like the thin pencil style. Thill makes some nice floats, we used to have a Gander Mountain sporting goods store here, I bought a year or two supply worth the first time they went out of business. The company that took over reopened the store in our area, it lasted about a year till they closed it again. The second time they closed it I was ready for the last couple of days when everything is 80 to 90% off. I think I have a lifetime supply of bobbers now.
Thill makes a Pro series slip bobber that has a copper insert so the line slides nicely without cutting into the tube on the bobber. They normally cost close to $3 in the store, I picked up a ton of them for around 25 cents a piece.
