    Sounds like a cool place, have never caught both those species standing in same spot. Wind has been brutal up here as well, tough on the UL angling for sure. Walleye and trout one day then bluegill and trout the next trip, crazy but awesome to be able to catch fish like that.

    It’s a fantastic place in the Spring Stan. But come July it is dead. The area smells like sulfur and the fish are few and far between. For about 3-5 days in the March-April time frame the KY bass will make a run up to the catch pool to spawn. If you can hit that 3 or 4 days they are there catches of 100 KY bass a day are possible. They are in the 14-15 inch range. Then they are gone.

    Sounds like if you can time it just right , an UL angler can have a blast ! I’d love to get into some spots like that .
