Thread: Dealing with the wind

Forecast for today is 15-25mph .
Tomorrow is calling for 20-30mph with higher gusts
Sunday is 10-15mph winds .
I’ve been enjoying fishing a drop shot with a 1/16 weight, but I don’t think that’s going to work .
I’m guessing the float and jig would be best , with timing my casts between the gusts .
At least the wind movement on the surface will work the jig for me .
The float and jig was my favorite way to fish ultralight jigs before discovering the drop shot .
Or I could just stay home . Naa , don’t think that’s going to happen.
Well, maybe tomorrow.
