2# it's a spoon, the hook is always trailing. The picture is kinda confusing.

1# search on you tube GoGoGofishing and look for night ajing with micro metal jig is possible.

Thanks, @Crappie Pro Wannabe, appreciate the video link. I kind of thought that lure might need one more hook. Didn’t make sense, to me, to fish it with the eye in the back. I might want to give one of these lures a try.

I wouldn't worry about the lure hooking fish. This article addresses adding a 2nd hook if you think you need one.

Not sure yet. I need to get into some fish where I can really try them out. I have some more assist hooks but they are twin assist. Not sure I want to use those even if I want to add a hook. I shopped a few years back for small assist hooks…meaning the #8 and #10. They were extremely expensive. Of course many of the Japanese tie there own assist hooks but that is out of my scope with my eyes and fumbly fingers. Watched some videos on it and it sure is not for me…LOL. I’ll post here as soon as I get back to fishing about hook up rates and so on.

Here’s a video I found on YouTube that has some info on these Aji jigs. At the end, there is a demo of Aji Assist Trailer Worm Hooks. I didn’t see them available at Plat. It’s just a singular hook with a clip.
